Goonellabah Tennis Club is located in Reserve Street Goonellabah opposite the Goonellabah Soccer Club. We have 5 synthetic grass courts, an outdoor entertainment area and a modern clubhouse. GTC has a great committee who are focused on developing and leading the club into the future. GTC runs competitions which include- Monday Night Social, Wednesday Morning Ladies, Wednesday Night Mixed, Friday Night Juniors and Saturday afternoon Social.

The Coaches - Matt Scarlett has been Head Coach at GTC since 2002. Starting with no juniors players in 2002 Matt has seen the junior base grow to around 75 junior players in 2011. Matt is a qualified TCA Club Professional Coach and in 2010 received the award for Upper North East Coach of the Year. Brendan Lee is Assistant Coach at GTC and is currently undertaking his Junior Development Coaching Qualification which he completes in June 2011.

In July 2011 GTC will be celebrating 50 years of tennis at the Club with all past and present members invited.
